# Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule a consultation?

Call our Fairfax office at (703) 385-6868, or send us a message through our contact page. We’ll find a time to talk through your situation and your options.

  Is the first consultation free?

Yes. Your initial consultation is free, so you can get basic information about your situation before deciding how to move forward.

  Do you offer payment plans?

We offer payment plans for many matters, including immigration cases. We’ll discuss fees and options with you during your consultation.

What kinds of cases do you handle?

Immigration (including removal defense, immigration court, asylum, prior denials and motions to reopen, and complex USCIS cases), as well as family law, criminal defense, traffic and DUI, and civil litigation.

What should I bring to my first meeting?

Bring any documents related to your matter, such as notices, letters or decisions from USCIS or the immigration court, court papers, tickets or charging documents, contracts and correspondence, along with a photo ID and a list of your questions. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything; we can help gather what’s needed.

  Where do you practice?

Our office is at 10521 Judicial Drive, Suite 300, Fairfax, VA 22030. We represent clients throughout Northern Virginia, and because immigration law is federal, we also help immigration clients who live elsewhere.

How quickly will I hear back?

We know how frustrating it is not to hear back from a law office, so responding quickly is a priority. Calling (703) 385-6868 is the fastest way to reach us.

Do you handle criminal and traffic cases?

Yes. Our criminal and traffic defense practice, led by attorney Jad Sarsour, also keeps a dedicated site with in-depth resources on Virginia charges: NovaCriminalAttorney.com.

Is the information on this website legal advice?

No. The information on this site is general, isn’t legal advice, and contacting us doesn’t create an attorney-client relationship. Every situation is different, so talk with an attorney about yours.

Questions about a specific practice area? Each of our legal services pages answers the most common ones.
